Bone carving has been practised for thousands of years by many different cultures including celtic, norse and polynesian.They believed that because the bone changes colour as it absorbs oils from your skin that it was removing bad spirits.
This worshop takes between 2 and 3 hours and needs to be a booking of at least 2 people. Cost is £30 per person.
Tiffany glass is a form of glass work invented by Louis Comfort Tiffany, it is also known as copper foil glass.
The technique involves wraping the edge of the glass in copper foil which then allows it to be soldered together to create a design.
The Courses costs £35.00 per person for 2 to 3 hours.
In our stained glass workshops you will learn glass cutting, how to fit lead cane and how to solder the piece together. We have a couple of small panel designs for you to choose from. It costs £35 per person and lasts between 2 and 3 hours.
Fused glass workshops last 2 to 3 hours and cost £35, during this time you could make such item as a plaque, jewellery or a design of your choice (we also run christmas decoration workshops). There is a limit to the amount of glass included in the workshop fee but if you wish to make a larger piece you can simply purchase more glass. The glass has to go in a kiln overnight so it will have to be collected the following day.
